ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — Goodwill Industries-Suncoast today was named to the top 10 of the annual "InfoWorld 100" awards for IT innovation, as announced in the November 13, 2006 issue of InfoWorld magazine.
IDG’s InfoWorld magazine, widely read by IT professionals worldwide, annually recognizes 100 IT innovators and features the top 10 finalists in the magazine. According to InfoWorld editors, “the annual awards honor IT projects that demonstrate the most creative use of cutting-edge technologies to further their business goals. To be considered, projects must stretch beyond the typical, off-the-shelf solution, and must use multiple technologies in innovative ways to serve well-defined business goals.”
Goodwill Industries-Suncoast and IT Director Charlie Chisholm are recognized for the development of Support 2020, the agency’s suite of Web-based agency support applications such as client tracking, sales reporting, case management, time and attendance reporting, and much more. Support 2020 was developed for in-house use at Goodwill-Suncoast, but is now in use on a subscription basis by other agencies and businesses.
